Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026. Wheel of Questions respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices when visiting wheelofquestions.com (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information: first and last name, email, hashed password, login/session identifiers and account status.
- Wheel content: wheel titles, questions, settings and changes that you choose to create or save. Please avoid including sensitive personal information about others in wheel content.
- Support and suggestions: feedback you send and details you include so we can investigate issues.
- Usage and technical information: interactions with the Service, browser/device data and routine server logs, which can include IP addresses and approximate location derived from them. We use essential cookies/session storage to keep you signed in and local browser storage for drafts and preferences.
- Payment details: if Plus purchases are available, a payment provider such as PayPal processes payment information. We may receive a transaction reference, subscription status and billing-related details, but do not ask you to enter card numbers into our own website.
How we use information
We provide and improve the Service, authenticate accounts, save wheels, respond to feedback and support issues, prevent abuse, maintain security, understand feature usage, administer any Plus subscription, and contact you about important service or account matters. We may also ask for product feedback. Nonessential promotional emails, if introduced, will include a way to opt out.
Advertising and data sharing
Free users may see advertising. We may select ads using information you provide and how the Service is used. We do not sell customers' personal information. We may disclose limited information to service providers that operate hosting, analytics, payment processing, security, support or advertising on our behalf, subject to their applicable practices. If third-party ad technology, tracking pixels or interest-based advertising are introduced, we will update this policy and provide legally required notices and choices before using them. Clicking an advertisement may take you to a third party with its own privacy policy.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies necessary for logins, session security and account functionality. Browser storage may remember an unfinished wheel and display preferences. Browser controls may delete or block cookies, although some features may stop working. Where required by law, we will request consent before enabling nonessential tracking technologies.
Retention and security
We retain account and wheel information while needed to operate the Service and for reasonable recordkeeping, security or legal obligations. Deleted content may remain briefly in backups. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can promise perfect security.
Your rights and choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account or personal information, subject to applicable law and verification. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to data portability, limits on certain uses, or to opt out of targeted advertising. We will honor applicable requests. Contact us at privacy@wheelofquestions.com. If you receive an optional promotional email from us, use the unsubscribe instructions in that message.
Children
The Service is intended for general audiences and is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
International users and changes
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by our service providers. We may update this policy as features change; material changes will be posted here and, where required, communicated directly.
